My Ski Story

I began cross country skiing as a freshman in high school on the Peak Nordic ski club. During this time, I volunteered at Peak Nordic Kids practices coaching children age 4-10.

After high school, I skied at Northern Michigan University under the guidance of Sten Fjeldheim. During my time at NMU, I competed at two Junior Nationals competitions and two NCAA competitions.

Through skiing, I traveled to amazing places including Park City, UT, Lake Placid, NY, Steamboat, CO, Fairbanks, AK, and Bucharest, Romania.

Skiing has allowed me to structure my time, push myself to new limits and explore places I may never have had the opportunity to go.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to fulfill my dream of becoming a professional athlete. I currently ski for the CXC elite team.

This team has challenged me to focus on reaching my full potential. Based out of Marquette, MI we train year round and start our competition season in late November.  I am excited to see what this race season has in store!
